Who we are
Two Italian brothers. One simple idea.
Dolobites was created by two Italian brothers living in Cos Cob, Connecticut with the goal of bringing authentic Italian gelato to local celebrations in a simple, flexible and memorable way.
Our signature foldable cart is transported in separate parts and assembled directly at the venue. This allows us to bring the Dolobites experience to gardens, private homes, offices and indoor spaces that traditional gelato carts may not be able to reach.
From intimate family gatherings to weddings and corporate events, our idea is simple: make authentic Italian gelato one of the easiest and most memorable parts of your event.

Do you require a deposit?
A 50% deposit is required only after we confirm that your requested date is available.
How long is the service?
Every gelato experience includes up to two hours of service.
How many guests can one pint serve?
We recommend approximately one pint for every 22 guests.
Do you travel outside the free area?
Yes. The first 15 miles from Cos Cob, Connecticut are included. A travel fee is added for venues farther away.
Can you serve indoors?
Absolutely. Our foldable gelato cart is designed for indoor and outdoor venues and can be assembled directly at the event location.
Can I order gelato without the cart?
Yes. We also offer local delivery of freezer-ready gelato pints without the cart or catering service.

You can choose from the flavours currently available during the booking process. Availability may change seasonally.
When will I know if my date is available?
We usually review booking requests within 24 hours. Once approved, you will receive the deposit invoice by email.
